There are shops in all four main residential bays, including men and women’s fashion, top brand surf wear and accessories, hair and beauty salons, newsagent, supermarkets, dive shops, chemist, souvenir and gift shops, hardware store, fishing and boating needs, real estate agents, coffee shops, general stores, bank, craft shop, galleries and a post office. Many shops have locally produced items and souvenirs for sale.
Medical facilities available include an out-patients clinic and a medical practice as well as a fully stocked pharmacy in Nelly Bay. Other services include a hair salon, Car Hire and Transport options, tide times, what's on, and fauna care associations.
